Ten years ago evangelical Tom Harper joined with Thom Rainer to offer a resource to churches and pastors that would help them build healthy congregations. The result? ChurchCentral.com.
Billed as a mega-blog, it consolidates essays, including a very helpful ‘White Papers’ area – and features articles and videos aimed at inspiring church leaders.
Tom’s also written a book, Leading from the Lion’s Den, that has helped him grow into a better leader.

Synopsis
Every week 7,000 subscribers get a weekly email from ChurchCentral.com that features interesting articles on church health. It comes from Tom Harper, who has quite a love for the Church. Here are my notes from the interview:
All of My Best Thoughts Were Stolen by the Ancients
Ok, that’s Emerson, but that was Tom and Thom’s idea when they put together ChurchCentral which, not only features a wide array of bloggers, but a distinctive leaning on the wisdom of the Bible.
Society for Church Consulting
In addition to ChurchCentral, Tom’s company trains church consultants whose main endeavor is to help congregations through conflict.
Turnaround 20/20
This is a conference for pastors and church leaders (Nashville, TN October 23, 2012) that’s sponsored by ChurchCentral. 20 speakers will talk for 20 minutes, giving their best TED talk-ish advice on how to help ailing congregations.
